The Challenge

A European client ABC company planned to order 1,000 school bags, with 10 specified colors, and the delivery time was 45 days. Because the existing school bag manufacturers couldn’t produce in time, ABC company found POLYKING.

Our Solution

The first thing we did upon receiving the request from the client was to arrange for structural samples made from stock materials. The first round of samples were approved by the client. However, the most tricky thing about this project was solving the material issue – the client had very strict color requirements and, as a student backpack for export to Europe, the material had to be REACH compliant. Therefore, while the samples were being produced, our material purchase department had already started to make urgent arrangements for the sourcing of materials and managed to confirm the material color swatches in a short time and arrange for the production of materials in accordance with the client’s requirements.

The Results

Given the experience and efficiency of Polyking’s purchasing department, the materials were sourced in a very short time, allowing us to start production at short notice and successfully deliver all backpack products within 45 days – we completed the production in 30 days and passed the European test standard.
