Eric Chen
Eric has been involved in foreign trade since 1985 and founded Polyking in 2001. Eric keeps embracing the challenge of developing and manufacturing a wide variety of bag products. This is a natural extension of everything Eric has done over the past 21 years.
Eric is a true workaholic. In the first year of Poyking’s existence, as the only person responding to customer inquiries, Eric slept only two hours a day. In the years that followed, Poyking grew to hundreds of people and he was always on the front lines, working six days a week. It is Eric’s passion for his work that has made himself and Polyking an expert in the bag industry and a very authoritative “big brother”.
Eric is always talking about “mutual benefit and cooperation”. This is the credo that Polyking has maintained for the past 20 years – We’re not only vendors, but partners. Our adherence to this principle brings our customers back to us time and time again.
As the co-founder for 20 years, Grace has consistently worked six days a week. Polyking has thrived under her conscientious and responsible care.
During the factory’s production process, Grace makes critical decisions on orders large and small. She always says, “We are a team. There is immense power when we all work toward the same goal”. This has become our company culture and working principle. That’s why each of us treats every job with care and provides the best service and bag products to our customers.
Grace is now a member of the local CPPCC where the POLYKING factory is located. After more than 20 years of continuous dedication to the operation and development of Polyking, Grace now will contribute to the regional development.
Grace Wu
Sissie Chen
Sissie is the daughter of Eric and Grace and witnessed the birth and growth of Polyking. She grew up with a passion for the foreign trade industry of bags and dreamed of helping the company grow.
Before returning to Polyking, Sissie worked at the Public Affairs Department of Walt Disney Company and that of LVMH’s Givenchy. These working experiences in the U.S. and French companies helped Sissie build up a mindset of communication and cooperation with foreign clients. She is always quick to understand what the client is conveying and enjoys brainstorming with them about bag products.
Majoring in English Literature, and minoring in Japanese at one of the best international studies universities in China has enabled Sissie to communicate with customers from English&Japanese-speaking countries effectively. She has a good sense of service and always takes care of everything related to the order for her clients. One of the most common comments about her are: “Working with you, I just need to place an order and sit back” and “Sissie, I really like working with you!”.
William Zhang
William joined Polyking as soon as he graduated from university, and has been working at Polyking for ten years. In the past ten years, he has handled thousands of production projects, from small cosmetic bags to giant outdoor travel backpacks. His rich work experience has made William a true bag expert. He is always able to quickly understand the needs of the clients and come up with the most suitable solutions for them.
Also, William is very meticulous and strives for perfection in every way. All the orders handled by him, he always make sure that every detail is of high quality. For example- once, an American client once ordered a series of make-up bags. During production, William noticed a slight color difference in one spot of the printings. William personally went to the printing department and adjusted the ink over and over again until the color difference was not visible to the naked eye. William’s meticulous service has been well received by the customers.
Tony Hong
Tony is a veteran of nearly 40 years in the foreign trade industry.
When Tony was a young man, he was sent by the government to Africa and France for 20 years to work in jobs related to foreign trade. These foreign assignments allowed Tony to learn about the foreign trade industry and to master his second language, French.
Due to his long experience in the foreign trade industry, Tony is always able to see the needs of our customers and use his experience to handle all matters related to orders for them.
Jinfeng Wei
Jinfeng joined Polyking in 2011 and has become Polyking’s ace quoter. She is familiar with the cost of almost every fabric and material as well as the labor cost for each production process. Just show her the structure and size of a bag, she can always calculate the cost list and quote to the clients with lightning speed.
But Jinfeng is more than a quoter. She is the client’s actuary. When a client is stuck on a budget and wants to make some changes to achieve a lower price, Jinfeng is always able to offer professional advice on helping reduce costs. As an experienced partner of the clients, staff in Polyking put themselves in the customers’ shoes to provide solutions and reach a win-win situation.
Jason Shi
Jason is primarily focused on production projects for domestic clients in China. He studied environmental science in college, but gradually discovered that trading and communicating with people is his passion.
Jian Wong
Wong has been with Polyking for over a decade and is a true materials expert. In 2012, when Wong first joined Polyking, he worked as a sample maker. When he was found to have a deep insight into various materials, he was transferred to the position of purchasing specialist. It is because he also has the experience and skills to make bags, so that he can give advice on selecting the most appropriate material.
Wong and Polyking’s sourcing team has a high level of sourcing capabilities. When the customer has special material requirements, and the common materials on the market can not meet the demand, Wong will lead his team to dig deeper into the market to find materials that meet the customer’s requirements. You name it, we source it.
Lingnan Ru
Purchasing is not an easy task, but Lingnan has always lived up to the expectations. Polyking has a special room for color cards, which is called “library”. This “library” is organized by Lingnan, and she remembers exactly which row or column has the color cards for which material. When a customer asks to see a certain material, she is always the first to find the corresponding color card.
During busy times, Lingnan is responsible for purchasing more than a dozen production orders at the same time. But she always organizes her work in an orderly manner, ensuring that the materials are received punctually and that they meet all standards. It is because of experienced material buyers like Lingnan that production can move forward smoothly.
Jing Woo
Jing joined the Polyking family in 2008. Jing’s daily work is to coordinate all production orders and supervise the production progress of each order, ensuring that the goods can be delivered on time to the hands of customers.
Every morning at 8, Polyking colleagues are able to hear a crisp cell phone text message alert. This is the day’s production schedule sent, by Jing, to the work group on time.
Liqun Ye
Liqun is Polyking’s quality control supervisor. She is bright and cheerful, always with our colleagues. Everyone gave her the nickname “Beauty Ye”.
Once the product on the line into the quality control stage, Liqun and her team will show 200% rigor. “Here the threads are not clean!” “This handheld webbing is a little crooked, need to rework.” Polyking rarely received feedback on quality issues since our establishment. Behind this very high reputation is strict quality control conducted by Liqun and her team.
Zhixiang Liao
Liao is jokingly nicknamed “Liao Crab” because he is a crab lover and is always chanting “I want to eat crab” in the office.
Liao joined Polyking in 2012 and is responsible for the operation of electronic equipment in the factory, from repairing computers to debugging fabric printers and maintaining large production equipment, he is an all-around king of electronic equipment.
Hero Ou
Hero joined Polyking in 2012. Before joining us, he worked as a factory manager in other factories, with rich production experience and workmanship. Hero is now the head of Polyking’s production line.
Chao Su
Chao Su is called “Superman” by colleages. As his name suggests, “Superman” has accomplished many seemingly impossible tasks. Once, an urgent order required delivery within five days, Superman worked overnight with his team to complete all the products within a few days. The quality was also praised by the customer. Even if we have to stay up all night to catch up with the work, Polyking does not let up on quality!
Hongcai Xie
Hongcai has been working in the warehouse since she joined Polyking in 2012 and is now the warehouse manager. She is responsible for managing the bag accessories. Whenever a new batch of accessories is sent into our warehouse, the entire Polyking staff receives an email from Hongcai with the details.
We all agree that Hongcai has some kind of magic. Sometimes we need to find accessories produced in 6 or 7 years ago but forget the order number. We just describe the details to her in general and she can find it immediately. The warehouse is like her library, and she is the keeper of it.
Yuanfeng Chen
Yuanfeng, also joined Polyking in 2012, is mainly responsible for the fabric of the backpacks and the cutting of fabrics. He doesn’t talk much, but he is always diligent and efficient in his work. Under his strict control, each batch of incoming fabrics is of high quality.
Xiaorong Liao
is Polyking‘s real veteran sewing workers. She joined Polyking in 2004. With excellent workmanship, she has won the title of “best employee” several times in the past 20 years.
Qipeng Fang
As a pattern designer, Fang is well versed in all kinds of computerized pattern making software. Just give him a product, or even just a picture, the experienced Fang can quickly know how many pieces of material each part of the bag is made of. He will draw the shape of each piece of material on the computer and then transfer it to a cutting machine for pattern cutting.
Shaofen Lin
Shaofen Lin has been with the company for 11 years. She is as gentle and sweet as Daiyu in “Dream of the Red Chamber”, but once she gets to work, she becomes rigorous and resolute.
As the boardroom manager, Shaofen’s job is not only to deploy the sampling schedule, but also to calculate the material used of each product, issuing additional material sourcing orders for sampling and production, and then handing them over to the purchasing department for material procurement.
Dongying Wan
Dongying Wan joined Polyking in 2007 and specializes in all things bag making – if it can be sewn, simple or complex, big or small, Wan can do it all. In her 15 years with the company, she has made thousands of samples and is a true master craftsman.
Cindy Cao
Cindy, as an order merchandiser, is meticulous and quick-minded, following up the process of each order on production and shipment. She has a very clear mind and follows up each order meticulously and closely on production and shipment.
Lixian Tang
Lixian and her team are the “housekeepers” of the factory and are responsible for all administrative matters, both large and small.
Qiubao Lin
Lin has been working at Polyking for 18 years. She was one of the earliest employees of Polyking and has witnessed many of Polyking’s glorious moments.
Lin is the Treasurer of Polyking. All our accounting records are kept in perfect order by Lin and her team. That helps Polyking maintain the daily schedule of our plant and keep all services running timely and efficiently.
Eryi Chen
Eryi is the general manager of the daily work of Polyking Industrial Park. In order to solve the company’s increasing demand for bag production, in addition to the single factory building located in Xiamen Tongan Industrial Zone, Jinlang bags in Fujian Anxi built an industrial park containing five comprehensive independent factory buildings, covering an area of more than 20,000 square meters. It is Eryi’s dedication to keep our large industrial park in order.
